Miva runs on MVT and Miva Script, proprietary languages with no talent pipeline and no certification. Nobody graduates into this. The people who can do it seriously are a small, known group, and I have been one of them since 2012.

How engagements work

Direct

You are a merchant with a Miva store and a list of things nobody has been able to fix. We scope the list, I work through it, you get an invoice against hours used.

White-label

You are an agency selling more Miva work than your bench can build. I work under your name, talk to your client or not, entirely your call. Committed monthly blocks get a better rate than ad hoc hours.

Migration audit

You are considering leaving Miva and every agency quoting you is guessing at what your store actually does. I read the Miva side accurately and hand you a real scope before you commit budget. Fixed fee, delivered as a document you own.

Lollar Guitars

2012 to present

Lollar's developer since 2012, on a high-SKU Miva storefront selling direct and to dealers. Template development, custom modules, API integrations, and the accounting and inventory connections that sit under the catalog. Currently building the connector layer for a migration from QuickBooks Enterprise onto NetSuite, with the storefront integrated on the far side.
